Matteo El Khodr graduated from Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in 2015 under the tutelage of Agnes Mellon. At the age of 18, he signed a major contract with Universal Music, France and subsequently relocated there. He released his debut album "Matteo Haute-Contre", a tribute to his musical inspirations including Bach, Bellini, Vivaldi, Purcell, and Verdi. 

Matteo embarked on a comprehensive tour of Europe, performing for prestigious venues such as the Communauté Européene de Bruxelles, the Queen of Belgium, Vienna, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Paris, London, Verona, and Lebanon's Festival de Beiteddine. 

In September 2011, Matteo became part of the Solo Alto-countertenor section for the Choeur de l'Orchestre de Paris, where he performed for the entire year at Salle Pleyel. His repertoire includes Gloria (Poulenc), Daphnis et Chloé (Ravel), Peer Gynt (Grieg), and solo masterworks from oratorios such as Semele (Haendel) and Juditha Triumphans (Vivaldi), conducted by the likes of Daniel Baremboim, Paavo Jarvi, James Colon, and Ricardo Chailly. 

Matteo's performances at two sacred festivals, the Festival of Saint-Chapelle in Paris and the Beirut Chants Festival of Sacred Music, were among his most distinguished. In 2012, he was invited to sing at Munich's GAsteig Carl-Orff hall and won the audience award at the renowned Concours International de Chant Baroque de Froville. He played the role of Mandane in the production of Artaserse by Leonardo Vinci with Philippe Jaroussky, Max Emanuel Cencic, Franco Fagioli, and M.Diego Fasolis in Opera National de Lorraine (Nancy, France). 

In 2014 and 2015, Matteo played the title role of Hyacintus in Mozart's first opera, Apollo Und Hyacintus with les Folies Francoises at La Cité de La Musique in Paris. He also performed in Artaserse - Vinci in Opera National de Lorraine 2013-2014, Apollo Und Hyacinthus - Mozart, and Giulio Cesare - Handel 2015, and embarked on a concert tour featuring Stabat Mater - (Pergolesi) in 2016-2018. He is set to perform in L'Ormindo -Cavalli in Berlin and Morocco in 2021. 

Matteo also appeared in the 2018 Netflix movie "What did I mess?" showcasing his multifaceted talent.
