Ada Gonzales

Ada Gonzalez was born in 1994 in Barcelona, Spain, and started ballet at the age of 4. She graduated after 6 years of Professional Formation in Classical Ballet at Centre de Dansa de Catalunya, with Roser Muñoz and Joan Boix as her main teachers, winning several prizes including First Place at "Certamen Internacional de Dansa Ciutat de Barcelona" in 2011, where she is an anual Gala Guest Star.
In 2013, she joined Teatrul de Balet Sibiu in Romania, where she very early danced soloist roles like Clara in "The Nutcracker" and Gulnara in "Le Corsaire", among other contemporary pieces, some of which were created for her. She won first prize in national competitions, as well as collaborated with the National Opera of Bucharest. One year after, she was promoted to soloist and she debuted in the lead roles of "Giselle", "Swan Lake", "Sleeping Beauty", "Don Quixote, "La Fille Mal Gardée" and "Anna Karenina".
She guested with national companies, as well as with Les Ballets de France and at "IBStage Gala" in 2016, where she performed next to international stars in her home town, at the Barcelona Opera House.
She is since september 2016 a soloist at the National Opera of Bucharest.
Ada has performed as a Guest Principal with companies such as Opera Comica pentru Copii, Teatrul de Balet Sibiu, Les Ballets de France, State Opera of Plovdiv, Opera Romana Timisoara, and at international galas such as the Artistic Ballet Gala in Japan, Gran Galà di Danza in Italy, Gala Ballarins Catalans al Món, Bellini International Dance Gala, and IBStage Galas of the Stars.
